Project in the SpotlightMarvin Gaye Park Mosaics As part of the long-term renovation and beautification of Marvin Gaye Park, City Arts was commissioned to created a double-sided mosaic medallion paying tribute to the park's namesake, one of Washington, DC's most famous native sons. Here, Mayor Adrian Fenty delivers remarks at the unveiling of the work and rededication of the park. The opposite side of the medallion highlights the wildlife and vegetation found in the Anacostia River environment.
