Washington Latin Public Charter School Mosaics
Sponsored by the St. Albans School, City Arts led a one-week residency at the Washington Latin Public Charter School involving over 100 middle school and high school students. This residency resulted in a series of five mosaic panels focusing on the Greek myth of Helios, the sun god, and his reckless offspring Phaeton. The artistic component of the program was complemented with students writing journal entries and blogs, and creating video footage focusing on the week’s activities.
